Uber suspended its operations in Barcelona this year because of the new laws. Luckily there’s an alternative called Cabify. However, they also changed their operations to adapt to the new laws. Now you need to sign a 1 year contract and wait for 15 minutes for your first ride. If you are planning to visit Barcelona more often from now on, you can get more information about Cabify from here .

ITMA 2019 Barcelona is big, very big. The gross area is larger than 443 basketball courts . Therefore, it would be handy to plan your route beforehand. For example; before attending the events in CC4 and CC5 halls, you can find us at the north of that big, beautiful blue printing area in Hall 3.

It’s organized once in every 4 years and that’s why it’s sometimes referred as the “Olympics” of the industry.
ITMA brand is owned by CEMATEX –also known as Le Comité Européen des Constructeurs de Machines Textiles- which is formed by 9 national European textile machinery associations: SYMATEX of Belgium, UCMTF of France, VDMA of Germany, ACIMIT of Italy, GTM of the Netherlands, AMEC-AMTEX of Spain, TMAS of Sweden, SWISMEM of Switzerland and BTMA of the United Kingdom.

There will be more exhibitors this year than 2015 while at least the same number of visitors is expected to show up. ITMA 2019’s gross exhibition space is huge this time, a whopping 220,000 square meters.
